Subject: Nearly 1,000 robins, Schenley, Pittsburgh, Allegheny
Saturday afternoon I was stunned to find 850 American robins during my walk in Schenley Park.  On foot I covered the Pocusset/Prospect and Overlook areas.  If I'd been in the car I'm sure I would have found more than 1,000.
Still present: Yellow-bellied sapsucker, Eastern phoebe
First of Year:  6 Brown-headed cowbirds + 6 Chipping SparrowsNests:  2 red-tailed hawk nests in the park: 1 pair incubating (seen yesterday), 1 pair still building
