2pm on Friday Mianus River Dam/Fishladder

3- Black backed Gulls (standing on the dam)
5- Double crested Cormorants
2- Osprey (flying overhead)

About 20 roosting Black crowned Night Herons on the far north side of the lake about 1200’ from the dam.

All awaiting arriving Alewives (threatened species, and Blueback Herring too) coming up the fishway to spawn in the lake above the dam. One of the largest river herring runs in the state occurs here each spring.
