Below are links to the story of a snowy owl (nicknamed Baltimore) that was
captured and fitted with a GPS transmitter as part of Project Snowstorm in
2013. One is a video by New Hampshire public radio, and one is further text
from Project Snowstorm. The story is very engaging, and made the more so in
light of our own DOAS golden eagle tagging efforts. It is so interesting to
be able to know exactly where an individual bird has been, and for how
long, and by what route.
