I was just out enjoying the warm evening and heard a Louisiana Waterthrush singing back in the swamp behind our house. There's usually a pair nesting back in there somewhere so perhaps one has returned? Will try to get a recording tomorrow morning. Didn't work just now as it only sang a few times spaced out a few minutes apart. Nothing says spring like the loud, up and down song of a LOWA!
