Subject: [COBOL] Birds of Fields Oregon 3-22-18
Greetings, Found the following birds within one mile of Fields. No collared doves around. The buzzards are really close to arriving Fields, there are 45 of the them over the Trout Creek Mountains in McDermit Nevada. There are also 8 or more grackles in McDermit with 4 of them just inside Oregon across from the High School. Up the in the Trout Creek Mountains Short-eared Owls are in full force. Found 4 of them one night, seen them on the east side of the trouts 5 nights in a row in different areas.

Of the three Golden Eagle nests that I watch, two have nesting eagles, the middle nest one can not see into and it takes a while to watch the eagles come and go. Many Prairie Falcons around the ground squirrel groups.

I will post more. jake
