At last night's WAS meeting, Susan Kielb told us how she used the Birds of North America Online (BNAO) database for breeding information.
All Ann Arbor District Library (AADL) cardholders have free access to BNAO at the Library or anywhere there is an Internet connection. Go to AADL at https://aadl.org/, scroll down the page and under the ---- Catalog ---- banner is the link "Databases." Click on this link and choose "Science & Technology." BNAO is listed there, click on it to open BNAO. Then knock yourself out searching for your favorites like Red-breasted Nuthatch, Kirtland's Warbler, and Golden-winged Warbler.
By the way, you'll have to set up an account so AADL can authorize you as a library cardholder. AADL pays database publishers lots of money for access to databases like BNAO so please use BNAO, often, frequently, daily, and every moment of the day so AADL knows there is interest in BNAO continues its subscription to this wonderful source!
