Subject: Forest Park, St. Louis
Walked around the brushy areas and lakesĀ  of Forest Park today and found a few birds. Waterfowl included a Redhead and hooded Merganser drake, a pair of wood ducks and Ring Necked ducks, Gadwalls, Mallards, Pie-billed grebes,Canada geese and one Snow Goose. Snow goose must be injured because he was just as tamed as the Canadas.
Also present were lots of singing Song Sparrows, a flock of 7 Rusty blackbirds, one Swamp sparrow and a Eastern Phoebe
