Subject: Immediate need for songbird bander: coastal Louisiana

Please pass along:
Immediate need for experienced bander to help run a banding station in coastal Louisiana (Nunez Woods, chenier near Rockefeller WR). Banding season starts on Monday, March 12!
The season will be fantastic for a bander; we can expect to band 2.5 - 3.5K or more songbird migrants across 70 species over an 8 week season. In addition to stopover biology work, we also intend to attach nano-tags to two focal species to better understand pace of migration in relation to stopover biology. Crew stays at Rockefeller WR, which is less than a mile from the study site, at no cost to crew.
