Windsor Lake (Weld) on Tuesday March 6: immature Iceland (Thayer's) 2 (all photos below of same individual at the Swim Beach), male Red-breasted Merganser 1.

Timnath Reservoir (Larimer) on Tuesday March 6: ice free, Red-breasted Merganser, not much else except expected species.

Northern Colorado Environmental Learning Center (Larimer) in Fort Collins on Tuesday March 6: Eastern Screech-Owl, think red Fox Sparrow has moved on (but maybe not, if still present not hanging as tightly with juncos as was its MO).

Sheldon Lake at City Park in Fort Collins (Larimer) on both March 6 and 7: Red-necked Grebe pretty much has whole lake to itself, ice gone.

Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins (Larimer) on March 7: no red Eastern Screech-Owl evident, no crossbills of late, Pygmy Nuthatches in southernmost alley east of cemetery between Grandview Avenue and Frey Avenue, also 5 seen within the cemetery in spruce south of entry bridge west of the ditch.

Rigden Reservoir in eastern Fort Collins (Larimer) on March 7: male Barrow's Goldeneye, heard Virginia Rail in cattails between path that goes around south side of res and Horsetooth Road.
