Subject: Roaring River sighting
Just a head's up to anyone going to Roaring River State Park... the trail head into Warbler Woods (just after Camp Smokey) was completely obliterated in last week's rain storms. The river has changed course there and took out the trail directly behind the wooden gate. (Rather impressive, really). You can still access that stretch of trail if you continue up Hiway F to the parking area where the "Fire Tower Trail" crosses F. I walked it on Monday and didn't see much of anything.
