I walk my dog Rio most days in the old mill site in Westfir by the covered bridge. I’ve been seeing HERMIT THRUSH the last few days feeding out in the open fields. I hear quite a few WRENTITS at the bottom of the slope near the railroad tracks. Did get to see one yesterday.
Across North Fork Road from the covered bridge yesterday there was a large mixed flock of ROBINS, VARIED THRUSH and WESTERN BLUEBIRDS. Very nice. Also saw a TURKEY VULTURE again.
