Subject: [obol] Linn County - Crabtree Area Raptor Survey
I did the East Cascades Audubon Society Winter Raptor Survey route 5, in the
Crabtree area of Linn County today. I drove 66.4 miles in six hours, and
found 88 raptors:

Red-tailed Hawks 28

American Kestrels 39

Northern Harriers 3

Adult Bald Eagles 10

Imm Bald Eagles 2

Peregrine Falcons 2

Sharp-shinned Hawk 1

Cooper's Hawk 1

Barn Owl 1

No. Pygmy Owl 1

In addition, there was a Ring-necked Pheasant, some Wood Ducks, Western
Bluebirds, Bushtits, American Dippers, and Meadowlarks. And friendly people
here and there.

Good birding
