Subject: [AZNMbirds] Today at Paton's
Hi Birders: Another pretty good day at Paton's. A few Violet crowned Hummingbirds were around, showing well. The previously reported bird with the deformed beak was seen, but is obviously still able to feed, as it has been reported for about a month. At least two Black chinned Hummingbirds were seen at various feeders, as well as the usual Anna's.

The Cassin's Finches were coming in regularly to the seed feeders in the front of the property.

Another volunteer headed over to Mendoza Lane in town and found the pair of Williamson's Sapsuckers; ( write if you need directions ). A Red naped Sapsucker was seen on Paton's property, and the continuing Red breasted/hybrid Sapsucker was reported at its usual spot, .2 mile West down Pennnsylvania Avenue from Paton's.

Didn't see the previously reported American Goldfinch, but it, too, could have been there. Cheers, Thor
