The geese moved a field to the East sometime before noon. They were in the field with the big power lines running through it, in front of the blue barn with a red door. Butler Market is very narrow at that point, so it is best to park down a ways and walk back. The Emperor was hanging out with 11 Pacific White-fronted Geese, 1 "Tule" Goose, 32 Canadas and the weird hybrid goose that Mike Ogle found at Hatfield yesterday. I spoke with one of the owners of the property and she said she had seen the Emperor "a few times" over the past month, so this could be where it has been hanging out.

The Emperor Goose continues to be seen in NE Bend. Peter Low found the Emperor Goose in Bend on Butler Market Road where it meets Hamehook Road. Coming from the Bend Airport, travel west for 2.0 miles to a stop sign. Hamehook is on your right and the goose is with its White-fronted friends in the field next to this intersection.
