Subject: [AZNMbirds] Tucson Sweetwater, Two Bitterns

There were two American Bitterns well viewed late morning in the kiosk pool. They were about 40 feet apart; one in the open, one in the reeds but active enough to see.
The stream was dry, the first pond nearly so. Water level is down 2+feet.
The second recharge basin was flooded so there were about 800 ducks, mostly American Wigeon, 40-50 Green-winged Teal, Northern Pintail, Ring-necked, Gadwall, Ruddy.
Found a hen Blue-winged Teal with a hen Cinnamon for a nice comparison.
