This morning Mike Holaday eBirded a CASSIN'S FINCH from Tucson's Ft. Lowell Park. With his directions, Mark and I refound the female-plumaged bird this afternoon in the very SE part of Ft. Lowell Park. It was hanging out with House Finches and White-crowned Sparrows, along the fence that runs between the pecan grove and the condo development. This is east of the tennis courts and east of the most eastern parking lot.
Perhaps this is the same bird that visited Jim and Rosie Watt's feeder late last year. They live in the neighborhood.
