Subject: [pen-bird] (4) Greater White-fronted Geese Bedwell Bayfront Park 1/30/18
Previous post did not go through on Penbird, so posting again.

Following up on previous penbird and eBird reports today. (4) Greater White-fronted geese were easily seen at Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park. Parked at the first parking lot near the red pump house/shack then hiked over the hill to the left of the parking area. Dropped down on to a trail that bordered/ went through the "meadow area" where there is a large puddle that was being visited by a good sized flock of Canada Geese and the (4) Greater White-fronted Geese.

Photos of the geese here
(map ) and (hotspot) links in blue are at the top of the checklist for those who have never been to this location before.

The Greater White-fronted Geese were reported in mid January by Russ Bright at this location, so they may be sticking around.

Cheers and happy goose searching,

Malia DeFelice
