A really great morning of birding at Sweetwater today, with 57 species total observed. The best among them were an American Bittern near the gazebo; the elusive Baltimore Oriole (finally!); 10 duck species (but not the Canvasback reported earlier); a Wilson's Warbler; and 2 Blue-grey Gnatcatchers. Also one Greater Roadrunner sauntering down Sweetwater Drive toward the Interstate, rattling all the way. Complete list is on eBird. I managed to finish up before the wind kicked up, thank goodness.
