Subject: Brown Creepers
I have a regular crowd of birds at my feeder (list at bottom), which have been pretty active since the snow. Today’s bonus was a pair of brown creepers, not often seen here.

I feed black oil sunflower seeds, supplemented with suet and orange halves or dried fruit. The birds seem to particularly love a homemade suet made with shortening, cornmeal, peanut butter, and some outdated raisins.
