Subject: [AZNMbirds] SEAZ: Lapland Longspur at Davis Pasture - YES
Yesterday, I did not see LALO in mid afternoon at the site, though there
were many Horned Larks and Chestnut-collared Longpurs, and a few McCown's.

Today, it was back at the tank previously described and seen intermittently
a few times between approx 3 and 3:20 pm. It was foraging on bare ground
among cow pies and Horned Larks, near 3 McCown's Longspurs at times. It was
also seen out in the open by itself on the berm holding the water in the
tank.

Yes, not easy to pick out due to the many other birds about and the near
constant movement of the flocks, whether picking their way through cowpies
or occasional flights upward and around. Scope was essential.

Good luck if you try this weekend.
