Subject: [Tweeters] Double Dipper Day

> Today we met up with Barry Brugman and birded in the Snoqualmie Valley and had a double Dipper day. Seeing an American Dipper at the bridge across Tokul Creek is usually not surprising, but today it surprised us because the place was packed with Steelhead fishermen. Nevertheless Karen spotted a Dipper not too far downstream from the bridge. We were taking photos when a fishermen decided to begin fishing about two feet from the Dipper. He never noticed the bird and caused it to fly....closer to us! So we got some nice close up photos.

> We then decided to bird at Sandy Cove Park in the town of Snoqualmie. Much to our surprise we found a Dipper there also, again spotted by Karen. We had never seen a Dipper at this park before and had never seen one in such deep water. Here is a video.

> We then went to a park in North Bend hoping for a triple Dipper day, but dipped on the Dipper there.
