Subject: Owl
This was interesting. When we went to walk our labyrinth this morning,
Sarah spotted tracks in the snow at the base of a tree near the labyrinth.
I am fairly certain that they were made by a Great Horned Owl trying to
catch something. The wing span in the snow is about 53+ inches which is
consistent with a Great Horned Owl. There were squirrel tracks nearby,
though we couldn't see evidence that anything was caught. Scary ghosts of
the night!! I did post photos of the snowy imprints on Facebook. Herb
