Subject: [CVBirds] Worm-eating Warbler continues at Reichmuth in Sacramento
It was spotted midmorning east of the 3rd "tee" of the frisbee golf and is
still being seen sporadically through 1140 by many, but just for a few
seconds at a time.

Worm-eating Warbler (Helmitheros vermivorum) (1)
- Reported Jan 06, 2018 13:35 by Andrew Lee
- Reichmuth Park, Sacramento, California
- Map:,-
- Checklist:
- Media: 1 Photo
- Comments: "Midway along the dirt path that leads into the marsh but then
dead ends. Frustrating typical worm-eating beahvior. Tan colored warbler
with a sharp spike like bill and distinct head pattern. Skulking deep in
the undergrowth, probing into dead leaves. Could not take any clear photos
with the sun in my face and the camera not focusing on the bird. Did get
one photo that shows the head pattern. No play back calls as the bird may
be wintering."
