At the J. Morgan Futch gamelands, around 10:00am, three Bald Eagles were fairly close to the highway.
At the well known Beasley Road stop, about a hundred Ring-billeds were on the field near the pond. The pond was empty. Farther south, past the do-not-enter, no admittance sign, were at least a thousand geese. I didn't enter.
Around 11:00 am, about 6.5 miles east of Jamesville right along route 64 and just to the south in a farm field, were at least 1000 Ring-billed gulls. Also present was one first winter Herring Gull, two adult Lesser Black-backeds, and one second winter Lesser Black-backed. There was no safe way to get a photograph.
