Subject: [OrangeCountyBirding] mile square cassin's vireo
I encountered the Cassin's Vireo at the north end of the N/S row of
casuarina trees while taking a late afternoon walk at the park today. It
was at the corner where the fence makes a sharp turn to the east and the
road eventually terminates at the nature center. Also, an immature female
Vermilion Flycatcher was near the archery range, the first of this age/sex
I've seen at the park this winter. My VEFL total so far includes 3-4 ad
males, 2 ad females, 1 imm male and (now) 1 imm female.
