The cottonwoods had many warblers yesterday afternoon at Gilbert's Riparian
Preserve (Water Ranch). Lots of yellow-rumped warblers (both Audubon and one
or two Myrtle), Orange Crowned Warblers plentiful as well. If you looked for
warblers which weren't regularly chirping you could concentrate on a few
specialties.

At least one Northern Parula was in the cottonwoods by the three benches.

A Chestnut-sided Warbler was in the cottonwood by the Mason Bly single
bench. One even came low for a closer view.

See eBird checklist for photos.

The later it got in the afternoon the more families appeared to have their
photos taken with the fall colored leaves - so birders were at a
disadvantage.
