The Cass CBC produced several good birds. The SNOWY OWL continues at the Logansport Airport. It seems to have taken a liking for the runway along 400s just east of the hangers. It was there all day. Two GOLDEN EAGLES are now present at the corner of 150N/1050W. One is an adult and the other is a 2nd year bird. The trick is to park at that intersection and patiently wait for one to fly over. Steve Doud found the best bird of count, which was a VIRGINIA RAIL. This bird was at the corner of 300N/50E in a small marsh. This is the first December record for Cass. The count had 73 species at the current count, but lists still coming in.
