This report was mailed for Judy Meredith by http://birdnotes.net Wednesday Birders went on some of a winter raptor route around Terrebonne and then walked a bit in Dry Canyon. Four of us went on to check up on the *Emperor Goose, found at Stevenson Ranch, thanks Steve.
*Greater White-fronted Goose, south of Bend *Emperor Goose, south of Bend Canada Goose Great Blue Heron Sharp-shinned Hawk, Dry Canyon Cooper's Hawk, Dry Canyon Red-tailed Hawk, so many plumage variations, one probable Harlan's, along Ice. Rough-legged Hawk, 1 or 2, first field along Lower Bridge Rd. Flew off as we arrived.
American Kestrel Merlin Prairie Falcon, along Ice Rock Dove Eurasian Collared-Dove Mourning Dove, 1,Dry Canyon Western Scrub-Jay Black-billed Magpie Common Raven Mountain Chickadee Townsend's Solitaire American Robin European Starling Song Sparrow White-crowned Sparrow Golden-crowned Sparrow Dark-eyed Junco House Finch Lesser Goldfinch American Goldfinch House Sparrow Total number of species seen: 29 Birders today, Glenn Van Cise, Joel Tinsley, Steve Kornfeld, Sue Bertsch, Sherrie Pierce, Diane Burgess, Mike Golden, Mark Neudorfer, Howard Horvath, Cal and Alice Elshoff, Judy Meredith.
