Subject: [AZNMbirds] SE AZ: Varied Thrush on Fort Huachuca
November 29, 2017
I saw a Varied Thrush (an adult male) in Huachuca Canyon this morning at 10:45 AM. The bird was along the left side of the road about 100 meters past the 1.7 mile parking area. The beginning of the road has some water flowing down it. The Varied Thrush was by the final stretch of that wet section of road. Just beyond this spot, a fruiting madrone tree was attracting many thrushes (American Robins and Hermit Thrushes).
