I saw a Great Cormorant around noon today from the eastern Doggett Rd. causeway that crosses the north shore of Lake Townsend. It was in company with Double-crested Cormorants and Hooded Mergansers in the cove north of the causeway. I've posted photos on an eBird checklist shared with Matt Wangerin.
Also, a Red-necked Grebe, which has been present since Nov. 17, continues today on the main body of the lake west of the western Doggett Rd. causeway.
