I heard 2nd hand that it was seen early this morning, but folks later were having trouble relocating it. About a dozen folks trying from various areas mid- to late-morning.

When resting on the water the gull can be very hard to spot (due to the distances involved). Look for the bird with no black in the wingtips. When flying, certainly easier to spot. Black underwings of course, but flight style very different than Bonaparte's. Look for a bird flying more like a storm-petrel or a bat :)
