The Snowy Owls were right along west side of the dam in the rocks. The
first one was clearly in South Dakota which by good fortune was a SD state
bird (320). The 2nd Snowy Owl was in Knox County (181) based on the
eBird Hotspot. Down along the Training Dike north side of the Missouri a
Long-tailed Duck showed up in Cedar County (not a county bird but still a
nice find. Thanks to Roger Dietrich for posting yesterday.

Good day to be out and even better when you can pick up state and/or county

Will try for Glaucous Gull in Burt tomorrow and hoping it will move around
a little so maybe a Monona County IA tick is possible as well. Maybe even
the Common Redpolls Kadynn found will still be in the area.

God Bless,
