Subject: [GABO-L] Adult Bald Eagle inside perimeter, East Palisades Trail Fulton Co
Took a walk this morning along the river and observed an adult Bald Eagle for well over an hour as it perched and occasionally took a run at the Canada Geese that are in the river there. The bird is perching most frequently in a large pine tree on one the closest of the two small islands in the bend of the river near trail marker EP16 . The bird can be best observed from the shoreline near EP16, and also at the Poppi's Point observation deck between EP10 and EP14. If the bird is perched in the pine tree, the Poppi's Point area affords a great look down at the bird. Awesome city sighting!
