Subject: [GABO-L] TWO BRANT, Inland BROWN PELICAN, TWO FRANKLIN'S GULLS Continue - Turkey Pond, Burke County - 11/22/2017
Hi All,

A group of birders were able to see a bunch of the great continuing birds at Turkey Pond in Burke County today including the TWO BRANT, the inland BROWN PELICAN, and the TWO FRANKLIN'S GULLS. Five CANVASBACKS, three males and two females, came in while we were there as well, always very nice.

The entire area was very fogged in for quite a while this morning, and the two BRANT did not appear until about 11:30 when they showed up very near the shore at the north end of the pond, about .7 miles from the viewing area, scope required.

The eBird checklist, will add photos later:

Good Birding All!
