Hi All

This is a report for the Tucson Audubon Society field trip to the Arivaca
Cienega. Highlights were the very cooperative Merlin and Green Tailed
Towhee.Six people made the walk around the Cienega in very nice weather. We
had a total of 33 species but the Towhees very the show birds for the day.
The Green tailed perched up for us and gave us all good looks for a couple
of minutes. Even a spotted towhee showed up out of the tangle of sunflowers
for a good look, maybe on his way to higher territory. The Merlin (my
personal totem bird) perched and allowed us a nice scope view.
