Subject: [GABO-L] West Point Dam - 11/20
Hit West Point around 2pm..stayed until almost sundown. A lot of ducks, loons, and grebes were there when I first got there... several gulls and a batch of White Pelicans came into roost later. It was nice to get 15 spp. of duck (with good numbers of some) including Canvasback, Redhead, Greater Scaup, Red-breasted Merganser and N Pintail. A lot of birdlife in general today...Noted species:

Northern Pintail - 9

Green-winged Teal - 1

Canvasback - 15

Redhead - 31

Ring-necked Duck - 46

Greater Scaup - 5 (probably more)

Double-crested Cormorant - 142

American Coot - 8

Bonaparte's Gull - 46

Ring-billed Gull - 300+

Herring Gull - 1

Forster's Tern - 6

American Pipit - 3
