Subject: Pines Siskins at Mason Farm
On this morning’s Chapel Hill Bird Club trip to Mason Farm, we heard Pine Siskins at two spots (before the beginning and near the ending of the boardwalk). At the latter spot, were a group of goldfinches very actively feeding on sweet gum and an ash tree seeds and I was able to see one siskin very briefly among them before it flew off. By sound, at least 2 more siskins had flown off before we got a clear view of the feeding group.

Good birding!
