Subject: [NHBirds] Penacook November Record!
Greetings all,

I found 38 species on this morning's survey, which sets a new all-time
record for the month of November.

Highlights:

1) Six species of waterfowl, including a continuing female Goldeneye
and a linger pair of Wood Ducks. A total of 9 Hooded Mergansers on the river
suggests they're been displaced by ice in smaller wooded ponds over the last
week.

2) Roughly 100 Red-winged Blackbirds behind Murray's Greenhouses along
River Road

3) A flyover Red Crossbill at the latter location

4) Five species of sparrows (including a Fox), with a big influx of
juncos (103)

Good birding,

Pam Hunt
