Subject: [LACoBirds] Malibu this morning
Birders: The mouth of Zuma Creek is full of water, but does not flow to the ocean. There were numerous gulls on the sand and in the creek water. One adult Herring Gill was the only bird outstanding. 

Later  at Malibu Lagoon, there was a feeding frenzy about 1/2 mile offshore. It included Sea Lions, dolphins, gulls. pelicans, cormorants and a couple of shearwaters, which I decided were probably Black-vented. The Lagoon had a Bonapartes Gull and a Forsters Tern, nothing else worthy of mention.
