We arrived at the Cherry and Webb Beach lot at 4:15, and a wave of swallows was already passing overhead, headed for their usual evening roost in Acoaxet marshes. I didn't sort through them for species (they were moving quickly) but did count 49 approximately-tree-swallow-shaped birds, and one well-seen Barn Swallow. They had certainly already been passing along before I started counting, so the number is a low-ball. 4 more passed later, as we walked the beach toward the mouth of the river.
