Prairie Queen had good variety yesterday - there are two inlet ponds west
of 132nd - one just N or 370, the other a mile or so north. The northern
inleat pond is typically the best location for ducks.

Ring-necked
Shoveler
Wigeon
Canvasback ( single)
Bufflehead (single)
Hooded merganser (single)
Gadwall
Mallard
Wood Duck - flock of 33
Canada and Cackling geese

Also 15+ Pied-billed grebes on the main lake, along with Mallards,
Gadwalls, and Coots.

Wehrspan Mitigation pond, same list as Neal’s, plus a pair of green winged
teal and two pelicans. Pelicans moved from the center island to the
corner of the cove to north while I was there.

Chalco - also some ruddy ducks, and a single horned grebe.

All in eBird
