On the first really cold day of the season, first small flock of juncos landed to forage in the front yard.

</div>PA Birders,
Yesterday while birding at the Trout Run Preserve in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, a flock of about 50 Tundra Swans flew low over the preserve. It was a nice surprise on a notably dreary day.

It should also be noted that the Appalachian Audubon Society recently installed a new woodchip trail at the Trout Run Preserve. The trail is very nice, and is worth checking out.

Good Birding,
