Subject: [JERSEYBI] Brig today
The weather was beautiful. However, I don't ever remember ever seeing the water in the impoundments this high before (excluding major storm events). The only pipers to be found were a flock of Dunlin along the "beach". Highpoints of the day were the arrival of a good sized flock of Tundra Swans, spotting the Eurasian Widgeon and a first for me at Brig, a Red-throated Loon in the channel along the south dike.
