Subject: Fallout at beech Fork Lake and Pine Siskins
Mike Griffith notified me yesterday morning that birds were starting to fall out at Beech Fork Lake in the dam/marina area following all the bad weather. I couldn't get out there until after work which was very late yesterday afternoon. Mike had noted several Common Loons and a White-winged Scoter. By the time I got to the lake, loon numbers had increased, but I wasn't able to relocate the WW Scoter. Some of the birds seen were:

Mallards
Green-winged Teal 2
Bufflehead 6
Common Merganser 1 (female)
American Coot 12
Pied-billed Grebe 2
Horned Grebe 1
Common Loon 18

We also had 6 Pine Siskins at our feeders this morning.
