I found a Green-tailed Towhee at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in the triangle formed by the Audubon House parking lot (behind the bike rack and wooden sign), the driveway from the parking lot to Riparian Way, and the wall below Riparian Way. The bird was seen on the ground among the logs and tree stumps. It remained hidden most of the time, but occasionally provided views of its rufous head and green wings and tail.
Also, I easily found the Red-throated Pipit in the usual spot at Pond C.
