Subject: [GABO-L] Late migrants in Cobb today
Deb and I enjoyed a flurry of activity this morning that included a few late migrants. Best bird was a late NASHVILLE WARBLER which was gleaning insects in the viburnum. Also had one or possibly two TENNESSEE WARBLERS. One very interesting bird that looked like a classic Tennessee Warbler but had completely yellow undertail coverts, like Orange-crowned. It was an highly unusual plumage that neither of us had seen before. Some TEWA can be very Buffy to yellowish but this bird had more than a yellow wash.
Fun day in the yard.
