Subject: [CT Birds] LPP c 330 raptors, Y-h Blackbird
At the Lighthouse Point Park hawk watch today in New Haven, we had c 330
raptors, highlighted by 70 Red-shouldered Hawks. Also noteworthy were an
adult male Yellow-headed Blackbird in a flyover flock of Red-winged
Blackbirds and a late Chimney Swift. Three flyover Common Goldeneyes were
among the first of the fall season.

Helping with the count were Bill Banks, Sol Satin, Bruce Finnan, Tom
Murray, Paul Desjardins, Tina Green, Ed Haesche, Gina Nichol,
