Subject: [obol] Lincoln weekend
Just got back from the coast today, lightly birded today and yesterday.
Highlights were: Long-tailed Duck (female) off Yachats loosely associated
with the scoters yesterday; Costa's Hummingbird today (at the Horvath
house, extremely cooperative—both the bird and Eric :-); and a Tropical
Kingbird north of Toledo along Hwy 20. The latter was by the long water
meadow on a wire, noticed while driving home (map here
<>). I missed the RN Sapsucker at Ona, but
only got there in the evening. No Swamp Sparrows.

Pics of the Costa's: in ebird checklist
<> or Maculay Library
