Subject: [JERSEYBI] Curlew Sandpiper sightings
Hi Jersey Birders,
I just went thru eBird records and this will be the first year since 1999
that New Jersey has Not recorded a Curlew Sandpiper (CUSA) in the state.
It also looks like only Canada has a sighting so far in 2017.
Because of the water levels at Brig this year I doubt one will be found
there...but geez we can't let this wonderful shorebird go unrecorded this
year.
If you know anyone who has a credible sighting send me an email so we can
get it loaded into eBird.
We've had Greenshank for crying out loud so CUSA should be around......
Right?
Good Birding
