I had brief but excellent looks at a curious SWAMP SPARROW at the Philomath Sewage ponds today. The bird was in the brambles about halfway down the south dike (at the end of the shooting range). Of course, it refused to pop back up once I had my camera ready. ;)
A male CINNAMON TEAL in full alternate plumage was a nice surprise - getting just a tad late for them.
